Cost of living worries did impact on buyer decision making and ultimately sales volumes in April. Auction rooms are quieter than in February/March and open home attendee numbers have slowed.

Stock levels remain very healthy and it will be interesting to see if first home buyers continue their dominance of the market in the coming months.

There are some good opportunities there for them currently and interest rates are still at historically affordable levels.
